Golden Retriever is confused after cat gets too close in funny video

A video on Instagram displaying a cat named Nala following around and coming “too” close to a Golden Retriever dog named Nash has gone viral on the internet. In the caption, the owner of the feline and canine wrote, “Spreading love with every rub”, referring to the cat’s affectionate rubs for the dog.

The Instagram video showcased Nala following Nash around inside the house. The look on the dog’s face conveyed his extreme confusion at the cat’s “clingy” behavior. The adorable feline kept on getting attached to the dog and gave him snuggles quite frequently. The owner added the song “You’ve Got a Friend in Me” by Randy Newman to the video. It made the clip more heartwarming and enjoyable. As the video went on, the cat even gave the Golden Retriever soft pats and rubs with its little paws.

In the comment section of the video, one person rightfully mentioned the feline’s “Golden Retriever energy.” They wrote, “The kitty has more golden retriever energy than the golden retriever.” Meanwhile, another person humorously commented, “I believe they switched bodies.” Another Instagram user perfectly summed up the dog-cat duo’s bond by simply adding, “Besties.” Another person expressed their love for the clip by writing, “Oh I love this SO much.” “I wonder if the doggo ever wants some personal space,” humorously wrote another Instagram user.
