Fans react to Adrien Brody’s newly adopted shelter dog Laszlo
Adrien Brody celebrated his 52nd birthday with a special someone, and it was none other than his adopted dog, Laszlo. Although the actor didn’t reveal exactly when he brought the pup home, he introduced him to his social media followers on Monday, which was his birthday. He shared an adorable video of the duo chilling on a couch, with the star looking beyond happy to be beside his new family member.
The Oscars winner revealed that the adopted dog is named Laszlo, praising the good boy for quickly learning his name as the puppy responds to the same. Brody’s fans will be quick to recognize his canine companion’s moniker. The black pup is named after the latest character he had the opportunity to play, László Tóth. The actor portrayed the Jewish architect in his most recent work, “The Brutalist.”
He captioned the Instagram Reel, “Hey friends, say hi to little Laszlo,” continuing, “It’s a happy day, full of blessings.” He also thanked everyone for their birthday wishes, stating that he was grateful for their love and support. In the video, Brody revealed that Laszlo was adopted from an Alabama shelter. Unfortunately, nobody wanted the cute puppy. After revealing Laszlo’s sad past, he asked a very relatable question: “How could no one want this cute little thing?”
The actor noted that the pup has brought home lots of joy and mischief. He also joked that his mischievous nature might be why no one wanted him. Brody exclaimed, “You’re just a terror.” However, while Laszlo has been “destroying everything in sight,” he proceeded to call his furry friend a “good boy.”
