It seemed Buddy didn’t show his best behavior the day his dog mom tried to record an ear cleaning video, as he made his dislike for it obvious. The hilarious post showed how the Golden Retriever showed that he hates it when his human cleans his ears by staging a clear protest and fake threats with his pointy little teeth. His mom seemingly ambushed him in the bathroom and started videotaping the moment that turned into a comical and core memory. The text over the clip explained, “our golden hates his ears cleaned (still).”
The video showed Buddy fearfully looking at his pet parents, who then included a shot of them holding the wipe in the frame for some context. The pooch appeared to be baring his teeth at the sight of the tissue, and his fight increased as the post continued. He first tried to slip away when his mom caught him in the act, prompting him to pretend to cooperate. The furry boy then briefly escaped before his owner blocked him at the door. He again attempted to fake threaten her as she brought the wipe closer, and finally got away.
In the video’s caption, the dog mom highlighted how much Buddy “hates it…. until he LOVES IT!” Commenters, however, stood in his support with one user pointing out, “The baby doesn’t want it!” A second individual remarked how the Golden Retriever likely said, “Helllll naw.” One commenter found it relevant, sharing that their “Golden is 1yo and we still struggle with this!”
