Video: Golden Retriever Puppy Shows the Right Way To Greet Owner

There’s no better feeling in the world than when you open the door to your house and your furry baby rushes to welcome you. No matter how stressed you might be, a few kisses from your dog will melt all of it away. A Golden Retriever puppy named Moose knew exactly what to do once her parent came home from work. In a viral video on Instagram (@goldengirlmoose), the pup showed that the right way to greet one’s owner is to run towards them with all the love you can possibly muster.

Golden Retriever puppy Moose just couldn’t keep calm when her owner opened the door to the house after what one would assume was a busy day at work. The owner recorded her pup welcoming them home in an Instagram video that struck a chord with fellow dog parents and pet lovers. The clip went viral, garnering a few emotional responses from netizens.

The owner captioned the video, “Rich because coming home looks like this.” It began with the parent opening the door to their house, which led to a long corridor. At first, the area looked empty, apart from a few furniture pieces and household objects that took up space on the side. Soon, it featured adorable little feet possibly running toward the sound of the door opening.

It was none other than Moose, who instantly recognized that her parent was home. As soon as the Golden Retriever spotted her owner, she rushed from the end of the corridor to the door, jumping in excitement to welcome them. The pup seemed so happy at the sight of her owner that she slid halfway through instead of running. Eventually, the dog reunited with her parent, receiving loving pats wholeheartedly.

Meanwhile, netizens couldn’t stop adoring this loving interaction. A fellow dog parent claimed that this scene was the “best thing to come home to.” Many shared similar stories about their pets. A few also agreed with the owner that it was the “richest” feeling anyone could ever have.
