This viral video, however, showed a little puppy, a Bernese Mountain, taking it to a whole new level by choosing his favorite treat over his brother, but in his own adorable way. Duncan was out looking for his big brother when a treat distracted him from the task.

You will always have a special spot in your pet’s life, right after the treats jar, and Duncan, a tiny Bernese Mountain was all about proving it. A cute video of the puppy showed how easily his favorite treats lured him while looking for his big brother. In the caption, the owner described Duncan as “the sweetest little fella,” who has “never been shy about sharing his thoughts!” Meanwhile, the clip showed him out and out when the distraction occurred.
The owner seemingly documented the moment when they were on their way to “see Big brother Boone.” The clip showed them taking their little walk outside when the treats caught the Bernese Mountain puppy’s attention, luring him from his original task. The pooch was on his leash during the walk when his dog mom called out to him and offered him a snack, “Duncan, come.” He excitedly approached his mom, whimpered in absolute bliss, and smacked his lips.
In what appeared to be the highlight of the video, the puppy’s eyes instantly lit up when he saw the treat in his mom’s hand. Duncan slightly lifted himself a little to reach his owner’s hand as she gave him the snack, which he immediately gobbled down. The satisfying chewing sounds at the end of the clip were just an additional perk of waiting for that moment as he enjoyed the treat and even appeared to be asking for more.
