In an Instagram video, an owner named Mike Brown treats his rescue dog, Cactus, to a pupsicle. It is the pet’s first time tasting an ice cream, and his reaction is priceless. The clip shows Brown carrying the pooch inside a store and asking him to pick his favorite from the “Doggy Icepops” cooler.

The two decide that “peanut butter” flavor is the right choice as it has a good smell. Cactus seems to interact with the shopkeeper, who happily checks out their order. After leaving the store, they find a peaceful place to enjoy the treat. Brown then holds the dog as if he’s carrying a toddler and places the pet on his lap.

The owner opens the packet and offers the pupsicle to Cactus, who seems to love the taste. Within seconds, the canine has gulped down the ice pop. Seeing the dog’s speed, Brown suggests, “Heyyyyy Cactus! You don’t need to eat the whole thing at once.” But the happy pup has not left any trace of the dessert.

Viewers loved the video and called Cactus “cute” and “Good boy.” A user commented, “I love that you still hold him in your lap like a baby! Never fails to crack me up!” Another wrote, “Cactus! From sad beginnings in the desert…to pupsicles with his dog dad!” One individual also mentioned, “Love when he sits when he’s getting a treato.” Many lauded Brown for providing a wonderful life to his rescue pup and encouraged him to “spoil that boy.”

Meanwhile, the rescue dog pupsicle video has garnered over 21K likes at the time of writing.
