One cannot expect all their children to excel at everything, and the same applies to the furbabies. If you have more than one pet, you know that it’s natural that they’ll have different talents. For example, if one is excellent at flaunting their tricks, the other will have raised the bar in wreaking havoc everywhere they go. This dog owner documented their two Corgis enjoying (or at least trying to) a swimming session in the lake in a video. It’s safe to say that the pups had very different experiences.
Owner shares how two Corgis have completely different swimming skills in video
Expecting the same skills from your furbabies is like expecting two flowers to bloom the same. They each have their own flair, and this Instagram video of Corgi siblings, Maple and Morty, swimming proves exactly that.
Their owner documented their completely different talents in the clip, with one acing paddling her paws, while the other had a full-blown meltdown. Summer always brings in the joys of splashing in the water, unlimited tail wagging, and wet fur.
In the clips with a hilarious narration, Morty stood by the side, whimpering and too afraid to take his leap of faith into the lake. Meanwhile, Maple flaunted her unmatched swimming skills, taking swift turns in the water.
However, her sibling, clearly having a moment on the sidelines and vocally expressing his fear of missing out, kept barking while the little champ showed off her skills in the water. In reality, he is “usually the faster one,” but his sister “stole the crown” that day, and he “did not approve.”
The video of the Corgi siblings swimming also proved that not every day is the same. One might excel in something at one moment and be afraid of something else in the very next.
Moreover, commenters quickly pointed out that Morty is usually the fearless one who could swim but appeared hesitant on this occasion. Another user pointed out that Maple made “all the unnecessary turns and loops,” likely flaunting her skill. An individual also noted how she kept “coming in and out of the frame” as she was having the time of her life in the water.
