Dogs easily get scared of many things, but no one would have thought a pooch could feel threatened by bananas as well. Well, it turns out, they can. This Corgi named Fiona will prove so. In the video, uploaded on @hammyandolivia, it just shows how Fiona’s favourite fruit turned into an “evil” fruit in a fraction of a second.

The reel starts with the furry pup taking the banana from her human friend and carrying it in her mouth to enjoy it alone. But soon after, her “new fear unlocked” when the yellow fruit slipped from her mouth onto the floor, hurting her eyes and startling the tiny fur baby.

From that point onwards, Fiona made sure the banana came nowhere near her. After the incident, she gets “scared” of the fruit as it hurt her. Although the dog mom tries her best to console the pup, saying, “it’s a friendly banana,” the canine makes sure to stay at arm’s length from it, hinting that the banana is “evil.”

Fiona’s instant fear of bananas left both the pet parents bursting into laughter. Despite this, the canine made sure to maintain her distance from the fruit. As expected, the video of the Corgi and her love-hate relationship with the banana even left the netizens laughing. They immediately took over the comment section of the reel to express their thoughts.

One person wrote, “Hope the banana apologized!!!!!” While another pet lover mentioned, “Banana might bite who knows?!?” Another user suggested that the pet parents, “Check her eye!  The banana poked her sweet little face.” However, one dog lover came in support of the pooch, saying, “As Feef’s representation, I believe she has a strong case for emotional damage and trauma. We will settle out of court for treats and cuddles.”
