Video: Owner Rates Places Their Rescue Dog Has Napped & His Poses Are Worth a Watch

You know how they say “Nap is always a good idea”? They may have had Fado, a rescue dog, in mind while coming up with it. His mom, who shares their adventures on Instagram at @sunnrayy, posted a compilation of all the places Fado has napped and rates them. From sun-warmed rocks to forest floors, each one, somehow, feels like a whole mood. And all of it points to one thing — this boy has truly mastered the art of relaxation. His mom sums it up best in the caption: “a nap like that would fix me.” It would fix the world, we say!

The clip has racked up over 64,000 likes. Every frame feels like a postcard from Fado’s peaceful, nap-filled life. It opens with him snoozing on a massive rock in the middle of a stream, head gently resting on his mom’s head, as she reads a book. This particular place gets a “11/10, I love him.”

The naps spots then come hard and fast with a shot of him sleeping belly-up in a dry riverbed. He has not a care in the world, earning a “10/10 but why does he sleep like that.”

Next, the ratings get brutal. He scored a mere “3/10” for an off-camper van nap where he didn’t realize his head had slipped off the elevated bed and into the sand. This is quickly redeemed by a gorgeous, peaceful shot in front of a waterfall, rated “10/10.”

We then see him totally passed out on an elevated bed atop a mountain, a nap described as “a good one for sure.” But the funniest is a nap in the middle of the forest, rated a harsh “2/10” because his human asks “Why does he look like road kill.” The video ends on a high note with a stunning beach chair nap, scoring a perfect “10/10 main character moment.”

Each nap spot gets funnier, and by the end, viewers are fully invested. One fan joked, “How is he comfy in half of these?!” while another wrote, “That’s the kind of self-care I need.” Honestly, same.
