Noah and Lincoln, a pair of American Bullies, were invited to join what was supposed to be a peaceful book club session with their dad. The idea was simple enough: sit on the couch, listen to a story, enjoy some bonding time. For the first few moments, things went surprisingly well. Both pups sat calmly beside their owner as he opened a children’s storybook and began reading aloud. It almost looked like the perfect Instagram moment. However, Lincoln had other plans.
Without warning, Lincoln jumped off the couch and started wandering around the room, clearly uninterested in the literary selection. In his short burst of energy, he even nudged his brother Noah, who up to that point had been quietly engaged. Noah, understandably thrown off, got up too, and suddenly the calm scene turned into total chaos. Both dogs began pacing and distracting one another, as their dad looked on with the tired resignation of someone who’s been through this before. It felt less like a book club and more like wrangling two restless toddlers.

Needless to say, this book club might need a new format, preferably one that involves chew toys.
