The actor was in Oklahoma for a shoot and while scrolling through Instagram he came across the picture of the tiny white puppy on the Labelle Foundation’s account. Telling about the adoption journey, Glen Powell told Vogue, “I remember exactly where I was—in this cafe in Enid, Oklahoma—when I saw a picture of him. I was very desperate to get Brisket. I made this video, I called this adoption place I followed on Instagram. I made a very hard, hard push for Brisket, and I flew back to LA mid shoot of Twisters to make sure I got him.”
The dog dad “almost named him Enid,” but somehow chose Brisket as it “is a very fitting name for him.”
