Video: Dog Mom Proves She Is a ‘Full-Time Maid’ to Her Maltipoo

Pet ownership is often portrayed as walks in the park and belly rubs, but anyone with a spoiled pup knows the reality is far more involved. Dog moms and dads can quickly feel like full-time servants between cleaning, grooming, and attending to their whims. A Maltipoo owner’s recent video demonstrates how much dedication goes into keeping her pup comfortable and entertained.

Dog mom shows Maltipoo’s elaborate night-time routine in video

Milo the Maltipoo may be small, but he enjoys a lifestyle many people would envy. In a video uploaded to @mr.milobug, his mom documents what she calls her role as a “full-time maid” for her pup. The clip begins with the caption, “POV: your dog needs a full-time maid,” before showing how she prepares Milo’s room for the night.

The routine starts with the owner stripping his bed, removing the sheets and the mattress cover. She tosses them into the wash to make sure they’re spotless. While the laundry runs, she vacuums every corner of the room to get rid of fur and dander, which she calls “part of being a dog mom.” Milo, meanwhile, sits nearby like a supervisor, ensuring the work is done correctly.

Next, her attention turns to cleaning his bed frame and nearby furniture. She wipes everything down using a towel and cleanser, including the bedside table where his room decor is kept. The video then takes a playful turn when she lets Milo choose his outfit and accessories for the night. Presented with two options for each, he confidently taps his paw on his preferred choice.

To complete the ritual, his mom even offers him a choice of bedtime storybooks. Once Milo decides, she finishes remaking his bed with fresh linens and tucks Milo in for the night.

Keeping a home clean with pets doesn’t have to feel overwhelming. Begin by vacuuming high-traffic areas daily and scheduling a weekly deep clean for carpets and furniture. Wash pet bedding, blankets, and toys regularly and wipe down surfaces using pet-safe cleaners. Even simple habits, such as wiping your dog’s paws after walks and grooming them frequently, can help prevent messes from spreading throughout the house.
